To vote:
A voter's guide will be delivered to you a week or so prior to receiving your paper ballot. Fill out the ballot according to the instructions on the ballot and secure as directed in the envelope provided. Sign the envelope in the designated area. Thoroughly read the instructions provided. The ballots can be mailed but we recommend you drop them off into one of the multiple secure ballot boxes to ensure they reach their destination safely and in time to be counted.
Mail-in voting makes participating in our democracy easier, safer, and more accessible for everyone. Voters can fill out their ballot at home, take the time to research issues, and return it on their own schedule without needing to stand in lines or travel to a polling place. Washington’s all-mail system has been used successfully for years, with strong security measures including signature verification and ballot tracking. It increases turnout, reduces barriers for seniors and busy families, and ensures every eligible voter has a convenient, secure way to make their voice heard.
