18th LD Holiday Pot Luck Party & Sock Drive.

Decembers meeting will be a potluck along with a "Sock Drive" to benefit those in need.  Bring your favorite tasty food to share along with as many pairs of new socks as you can.  Each pair of socks will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize.  The 18thLD will provide bottled water, soft drinks, and coffee (the event will be alcohol-free).  Lets end the year on a good note with good friends.

Socks brought to the Holiday Party on December 18th will be donated to Share, a non-profit that serves folks experiencing homelessness and hunger in Clark County. The socks will then be distributed to Share’s clients in shelter, to low-income families in the Vancouver and Evergreen School Districts, and to adults experiencing homelessness this winter.

Socks donated may be any color, variety, or size - for newborn children to adults, male and females. Share has told us that the most needed style of socks are men and women sized ‘ankle’ socks for teenagers.
